This is one of the later varieties of tangerines that is a cross between a Clementine and an Orlando Tangelo. The trees are small but bear a lot of fruit. It is a very bright orange, rich-flavored fruit that is hard for us to grow because it tends to split upon reaching maturity. It is very usual for the tree to shed more than 15% of its fruit. Generally these have few seeds and the aromatic flavor makes it my favorite mid-season tangerine.
