TDE Triple Cross

[Za ceno nas kontaktirajte]

This fruit is an unusual triple cross of a Temple tangor, a Dancy mandarin and an Encore mandarin (formally known as TDE2 and TDE4).The genetics are triploid and the varieties we have chosen are named the Shasta and Yosemite. It features a large fruit size, deep orange rind color, a very sweet and rich flavor and one of the most important features for our Canadian customers is that it has almost no pits (seeds). It ripens in February and holds well on the tree through March. Deer Creek Heights Ranch is a great match for the late maturing varieties as we are in the "banana belt" on the eastern side of the San Joaquin Valley, that is much warmer than most of the surrounding citrus lands.
