Looks like a lemon but has none of the sourness. Our variety is the type of fruit that originated in northern India, is grown throughout the Near East and used as a medicine. People of the Arabic countries eat this fruit to prevent colds and the flu. We know through personal experience, that this fruit settles an upset stomach, eases morning sickness and, with some cancer patients, softens the effects of chemotherapy. Also called a sweet lemon, it is very low in citric acid but high in Vitamin C. We produce a fruit with a very thin, smooth skin. The tree is very vigorous growing, like the wild tree it is, as much as three feet in just two months.
