Clementine Tangerine

[Contact us for a price]

This is probably the sweetest tangerine of all of the mandarin family, with a sugar rating that will reach 20. As with many of the tangerines, named after Tangiers, Africa where they were most recently found, they were first selected by priests. This variety was reportedly found in the garden of father Clement Rodier from an orphanage near Oran, Algeria, hence its other name Algerian. Its origin may be in dispute in academic sources but this variety is still the favorite of many, including those at Deer Creek Heights Ranch.
