Welcome

Buck Brand

Welcome to Deer Creek Heights Ranch.

Thank you so much for visiting our website. We are a family-owned California citrus ranch. We grow a very wide variety of oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits, pommelos, tangerines, kumquats, and more. We are an organic grower and utilize processes that produce fruit unlike any packing houses in the industry and unlike anything you have ever sunk your teeth into.

To get the most out of this website, please read a little more about simple brushing below and then proceed on to read about some of the varieties we grow. Don't forget to check out the About Us page. My only wish is that I could provide you with actual taste-tests over the internet because I think you would agree that there is nothing quite like the taste of an organically grown and tenderly-loved citrus fruit.

Buck Brand offers many type of citrus that you won't find anyplace else. In addition to our exclusive offerings, we provide many other hard to find fruits. We also offer a few common staple citrus fruits, but again, we believe you won't find higher quality fruit anywhere else.

We unconditionally guarantee our fruit 100% to your satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied, please send your receipt and one Buck Brand sticker or label, along with your address to Deer Creek Heights Ranch Route 4 Box 130, Porterville, California 93257 and we will refund your full purchase price.

The fruit sold under the Buck Brand label consists mainly of fruit grown by the Babcock family but some if it is also grown by a local group of family farmers and their families, whose livelihood depends on the sale of their fruit. We all work hard to provide you with the very best produce possible.

The Buck Brand Difference

HillAlways Guaranteed to be Fresh
The fruit under the Buck Brand label is grown in the foothills of the San Joaquin Valley in California. It is packed only when it is fully ripe and ready to eat. The fruit is picked to order and delivered to your store within days of harvest, not weeks.

Simply Brushed
The fruit is simply brushed with horsehair brushes and drenched with a natural compound, using only the fruit’s own natural wax. This produces a fruit that is full of its own natural flavor, like you picked it right from the tree, the way it used to taste, before the use of artificial wax and fungicides.
